The property is located about 1 Km from the sea, between the beach and the Albères, foothills of the Pyrenees. The park of 20.000 square meters consists of pine trees, cypres, mimosas, oleander, eucalyptus and some palm trees. Situates about 1 Km from the village of Argelès, 500 meters from the castle of Valmy (bird show etc.), 5 Km from the picturesque town of Collioure (Picasso etc.), 2 Km by car from the beaches with easy parking, 1 Km from the harbour.
We own 1 apt-house and 2 villas, see “catalogue”. All apts. and villas have fully equiped kitchens, washing-machines and satelite TV for all languages. Around the houses and in the park a lot of space for leasure, grill and parking. Most of our guests come again and again for several reasons - we are a family living on the same premises enjoying our activity serving our guests in every possible way, so, many have become good friends. Beeing present we give instant advise or repair, our accomodations are in top shape and clean. For the children we have a swing-set, a ping-pong table and a sandbox for the little ones.
Argelès has a 7 Km large white sandy beach and after that it’s the beginning of the creeks embeded in rocky slopes - for the romantic and naturists. There is a very large and beautiful tree planted promenade all along the beach. Argelès is a very active town, for young and old alike. Our aerea called Pyrenées Catalan is blessed with almost all varieties of landscapes one encounters in the world and in a short distance one reaches from 0 an altitude of 3000 meters. It’s a paradise for hiking, swimming, cycling, sightseeing etc. History is another main item, very much present when touring. Neighbouring Collioure is a well known gorgeous painters town, here remained celebrities like Picasso, Matisse, Derain, Dufy, Chagall etc. - and they still go on painting, all over the town
There are possibilities to make excursions to the fortresses of the Cathares including overwhelming Carcassonne. To the Princibeauté of Andorra, bustling Barcelona, to Salvador Dali in Figueres. Climb the Canigou or Carlit mountains (real easy) and admire the creation of our earth (a very present thought when roaming this fantastic country side)
